How to Arrive

Very easy to get from Marrakech-Menara Airport (RAK) to Hotel Gomassine. Not more than 10−15 minutes by taxi. Just outside the arrivals terminal stands a rank of official "Petit Taxis" (small, beige-colored taxis). Bargain over the fare before you get in, as drivers rarely turn the meter on for airport runs. To the Gueliz district, Morocco it’s negotiable after the usual bartering has failed. It’s just easy and very fast, and one does not walk around much up to the hotel’s entrance

For a great and extremely economical “premium” here one can take the Airport Express bus, Line 19. This clean, modern, air-conditioned bus runs very frequently from in front of the airport terminal to the new city and makes several key stops there that really are designed for tourists. The most convenient stop for Hotel Gomassine is at the Carré Eden shopping center in Gueliz, which is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It's dirt cheap too: 30 MAD (around EUR 3.00) but a very stress-free way into this city.

For such travelers, the ONCF train network would be ideal; for this trip, it ends at the very attractive Marrakech Railway Station at the end of Gueliz's Avenue Mohammed V. Thus, one can walk to the hotel in about 15 minutes from the train station or take a short five-minute taxi ride that does not cost much. It is entirely possible for a guest to stay at this hotel without a car, although street parking in Gueliz is notoriously tough, so the on-site parking is surely a boon if one does drive.
